“Make food simple and let things taste of what they are.”
I do not tag myself as chef. Apart from the glaringly obvious reasons that I neither have the talent nor the dexterity, another reason is that my ability to cook stops at experimenting with loads of pre-written recipes to then make my own, rather than to whip us extraordinary flavors together. Having said that, I think this is the first ever ‘original’ recipe that I ever made. And I have been making this for so many years that I even forgot how I stumbled on it. I just remember that a desperate hunger pang and some leftover packets of seasoning that one gets with pizza were the initiation to this recipe, which is all its glory, is deceivingly simple yet deliciously moreish.
